Finally, the countdown is over and the big day/night is here. In the UK there has been quite a lot of good coverage of the 50th anniversary of the ‘First Flight’, with news items, documentary pieces and dramatisations. We are proud to be a small part of the celebration of this world-historical event. If you are heading out to party tonight at one of the many Yuri’s Night events around the world, have a good time, and raise a glass for Yuri, his colleagues and fellow-citizens who did so much to put humanity on ‘the road to the stars’.
